Dr. Cam Dunson – Management Psychology Expert & Keynote Speaker
I’m Dr. Cam Dunson, an organizational psychologist, storyteller, and keynote speaker helping leaders build workplaces where people thrive together.
Before earning my doctorate, I spent 21 years overseas leading multicultural teams and helping professionals adapt to new cultures. Those years gave me a front-row seat to what helps people flourish in unfamiliar environments, and what happens when they don’t. When I returned to the U.S., I turned that lived experience into science, writing my dissertation on Belonging in the Workplace, identifying the five essential components of belonging in organizations.
Today, I share that blend of story and science through three signature keynotes:
• The Belonging Advantage – How belonging drives engagement, innovation, and retention, as well as how leaders can intentionally build it into their culture.
• Thriving with Cross-Cultural Teams – Lessons from 21 years abroad on successfully leading cross-cultural teams.
• Leading Wisely with AI – Best practices for introducing AI in the workplace. This talk helps leaders balance innovation with wisdom, avoiding sycophantic ideation, selecting tools based on transparent training data, reducing fear and resistance, and prompting AI to focus on accuracy and insight rather than noise.
Audiences include executives, HR professionals, educators, and faith-based leaders navigating culture, technology, and transformation. Event planners invite me because I bridge head and heart: I make evidence practical, stories actionable, and complex change human.
My approach stands out for its intersection of global experience, psychological insight, and future-of-work expertise. Each talk provides audiences with both inspiration and implementation, helping them transition from simply showing up to truly belonging, wherever they work in the world or digital landscape.
